Je me suis régalé pendant 2 heures sans n’avoir rien mangé ! C’est une ode merveilleuse à la gastronomie française. Tout est beau et bon dans ce film : des acteurs aux paysages en passant par les mets. Cette passion de cuisiner pour les autres est doublée d’une belle histoire d’amour de ces 2 remarquables cuisiniers. La transmission du savoir-faire est également bien romancée. A regarder en très haute définition et avec un bon son pour avoir encore plus l’eau à la bouche !
Synopsis
Set in 1889 France, Dodin Bouffant is a chef living with his personal cook and lover Eugénie. They share a long history of gastronomy and love but Eugénie refuses to marry Dodin, so the food lover decides to do something he has never done before: cook for her.
