Si le titre français fait surtout écho à la célèbre légende urbaine d'une femme qui hante nos bords de route, il s'avère qu'ici il s'agit en faite de « La Llorona » une légendes urbaines bien plus connues au Mexique. Film utra classique et ultra cliché qui ne fait pas peur du tout ! Vu qu'on devine trop la suite des événements. Franchement il est bien fait mais vide. Comme tous les films de la catégorie, on ne lui demande pas une belle histoire mais les effets et le tournage font le taff et sont plutôt bien réussis.
Synopsis
In 1970s Los Angeles, the legendary ghost La Llorona is stalking the night -- and the children. Ignoring the eerie warning of a troubled mother, a social worker and her own kids are drawn into a frightening supernatural realm. Their only hope of surviving La Llorona's deadly wrath is a disillusioned priest who practices mysticism to keep evil at bay.
