La malédiction de la dame blanche n'a rien d'une nouveauté, c'est un film dans la continuité de la mode des films d'horreur actuels où les esprits sont très présents... Pas de surprise donc ni de sursauts, ce qui n'enlève pas la qualité du film à utiliser le mythe de la Dame Blanche et d'en faire un honorable film d'horreur qui joue davantage sur les impressions, les sensations, la peur que sur les effets gores. Linda Cardinelli y met tout son coeur et rend son personnage crédible. L'histoire est plutôt bien agencée en avançant pas à pas dans le récit sans brûler les étapes. Un bon petit moment de cinéma sans exagération et plutôt bien maîtrisé."
Synopsis
In 1970s Los Angeles, the legendary ghost La Llorona is stalking the night -- and the children. Ignoring the eerie warning of a troubled mother, a social worker and her own kids are drawn into a frightening supernatural realm. Their only hope of surviving La Llorona's deadly wrath is a disillusioned priest who practices mysticism to keep evil at bay.
