Gory but a good A24 film
The film is truly captivating with its powerful metaphors. Even though it doesn't have a plethora of horror elements it remains thoroughly enjoyable.
The Movie Explores Traumatic Grief Talk to Me is a heavily metaphorical exploration of grief and the difficulties of letting go. Holding on for too long, whether to a person's memory or an embalmed hand, can have destructive consequences for them and their loved ones. Mia is a lil annoying. Hate that it’s a black girl that had to die and attempt murder. Pretty much all of the ancillary characters are useless.
