C’est un film un peu atypique qui parle de la dernière année de lycée de Christine (“Lady Bird”) qui est en conflit perpétuel avec sa mère, persuadée que quitter sa ville natale pour une université prestigieuse, dans une grande ville, serait la réponse à tous les maux de sa condition sociale et familiale. J’ai beaucoup aimé suivre ce personnage qui essaye de découvrir qui elle est tout au long du film jusqu’à son émancipation et le passage à la vie universitaire loin de tout. 🌻
Synopsis
Lady Bird McPherson, a strong willed, deeply opinionated, artistic 17 year old comes of age in Sacramento. Her relationship with her mother and her upbringing are questioned and tested as she plans to head off to college.
