Noté 7/10 par Joann Acher "Palme d'or 2018 Encore un film d'hirokazu sur les liens familiales, cette fois ci on suit une sorte de famille recomposée dans le Tokyo bien pauvre. Le rythme est assez lent, on voit pas toujours ou ça va mais ça reste un très bon film assez touchant sur le sens de la famille. On y voit un Japon que l'on ne voit jamais, bordélique, sale, pas travailleur, etc. Et rien que pour ça vaut la peine de le voir. "
Synopsis
In the outskirts of Tokyo, a poor but close-knit group living on the fringes of society survives through shoplifting and odd jobs. When Osamu and his son take in a neglected young girl, their already fragile existence begins to unravel. As the family grows attached to her, buried secrets surface, forcing them to confront the true meaning of love, belonging, and what makes a family.
