Excellente interprétation des acteurs. Film enrichissant quant à la connaissance de la vie en campagne de l’époque. Paysages magnifiques. Une réserve quant aux décors parfois trop artificiels ; les bottes de paille dans la cour comme une décoration, cela n’avait pas lieu d’être à l’époque, la paille avait son utilité. Par ailleurs, lorsque le fils fabrique le cercueil de sa mère, on le voit poncer une planche en bois de contreplaqué : non!
Synopsis
France. End of the 19th century. Louise Violet 40, a Parisian teacher, is sent on a mission to the French countryside. But in a place where the daily life is linked to the seasons, land and crops, she must first convince parents to send their kids to school. With the help of the mayor, she is gradually accepted by the parents and their children. But soon, her past catches up with her. Despite the obstacles she faces, Miss Violet will give her heart and soul to her belief that education is the key to freedom.

Vue avec Joy, Histoire sympa et très belles valeurs transmises, particulièrement touché en tant que futur prof. Sinon film français basique, ni incroyable ni horrible.
