Nous avons tous eu l'occasion d'entendre des éloges sur ce film Le Comte de Monte Cristo, jusqu'à être qualifié comme le film de l'année par certains. Par ailleurs, lorsque j'ai eu l'occasion de le voir, celui-ci avait déjà beaucoup fait parler. Alors je ne vous cache pas ma déception lors de mon visionnage. Malgré que ce film soit tout bonnement extraordinaire, avec un jeu d'acteur hors pair, un scénario et une réalisation des plus excellente, il manque un petit je-ne-sais-quoi qui fait que ce film reste palpitant, etc. Je conseille tout de même.
Synopsis
Edmond Dantès becomes the target of a sinister plot and is arrested on his wedding day for a crime he did not commit. After 14 years in the island prison of Château d’If, he manages a daring escape. Now rich beyond his dreams, he assumes the identity of the Count of Monte-Cristo and exacts his revenge on the three men who betrayed him.

Un film passionnant dont on ne voit pas le temps passer ! Avec une histoire travaillée ( inspiré du livre ) et des acteurs fantastiques.
