Community Reviews
Viewers generally hold 'Carlito's Way' in high regard, celebrating Al Pacino's compelling performance and the film's engaging narrative of redemption and moral dilemmas. While some find the film's atmosphere lighter than expected, lacking the intense, dark edge of a traditional thriller, the tragic and fatalistic tone resonates well. The action sequences and music choices, however, receive mixed reviews, with some feeling they detract from the overall impact.
👍 Al Pacino's performance is widely praised.
👎 Some find the tone too light for a thriller.
