Reviews and Comments
46 reviewsDon’t let the ‘official’ ratings fool you. This movie is a masterclass in acting with a remarkable cast. The movie is crowned by what is in my opinion one of the finest acting scenes in modern cinematic history —-the emergency boardroom meeting on the eve of the 2008 financial crisis. Jeremy Irons absolutely steals the show and I believe he’s one of the finest actors that ever was. Kevin Spacey is reliably excellent providing the ‘icing’ on the acting cake, especially in his scenes with Jeremy. Zachary Quinto also deserves a special mention for his stellar performance too. The cast also includes Stanley Tucci, Demi Moore, Paul Bettany and Simon Baker. I couldn’t fault any of them. The casting is excellent.
