Une bonne surprise que ce film de guerre où l'aspect humain des choses et le respect des qualités de l'ennemi jouent un grand rôle. Curd Jürgens et Robert Mitchum sont impeccables, le scénario est passionnant et l'habituel patriotisme américain pas trop exagéré. Les effets spéciaux sont très réalistes. Un bon moment pour résumer.
Synopsis
During World War II, an American destroyer meets a German U-Boat. Both captains are experts, and so begins a deadly game of cat-and-mouse.
