Sans vraiment arriver à le formuler, je préfère le Bong Joon Ho "coréen" plutôt que lorsqu’il s’aventure aux États-Unis. Probablement que son humour et sa distance me semble plus en adéquation avec sa langue natale. Quoiqu’il en soit, je suis sorti aussi amusé que mitigé du film. L’histoire propose un brûlot anti Trump distrayant mais peine à vraiment me surprendre. Et la réalisation, bien que parfaitement maîtrisée, me semble vraiment moins marquante que dans son dernier film. Une curiosité qui ne retiendra pas longtemps mon attention au final.
Synopsis
Mickey 17 is an expendable, a disposable employee, on a human expedition sent to colonize the ice world Niflheim. After one iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of its memories intact.
