Synopsis
The Maclean brothers, Paul and Norman, live a relatively idyllic life in rural Montana, spending much of their time fly fishing. The sons of a minister, the boys eventually part company when Norman moves east to attend college, leaving his rebellious brother to find trouble back home. When Norman finally returns, the siblings resume their fishing outings, and assess where they've been and where they're going.

Très bon film, vu il y a des années et redécouvert avec plaisir. Très bien joué, une philosophie de la vie (peut on aider ceux que l'on aime). J'ai eu l'impression de tout redécouvrir!

🎬 Le chef d'oeuvre de Robert Redford en tant que réalisateur. L'histoire simple de deux frères, d'une famille avec un père pasteur de l'Amérique profonde, dans des décors à couper le souffle. Craig Sheffer, Tom Skerritt et bien sûr Brad Pitt au visage plus angélique que jamais. Dans le Montana des années 20, deux frères grandissent en partageant la passion de la pêche à la mouche, sous l'autorité de leur père, un révérend strict. Les images sont magnifiques et la mise en scène exemplaire. Le cinéaste adapte le roman autobiographique de Norman Maclean et nous restitue une œuvre simple mais passionnante, sur fond de drame humain. Grand film. 🎬 🎬 🎬
