Viewers find 'Corsage' a visually stunning yet somber portrayal of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, diverging sharply from the romanticized versions of her life. Vicky Krieps delivers a compelling performance, capturing the empress's melancholy and rebellious spirit. The film's slow pace and deliberate anachronisms, however, have left some viewers puzzled and desiring more depth in historical and political context.
