A group of misfits enter a Las Vegas dodgeball tournament in order to save their cherished local gym from the onslaught of a corporate health fitness chain.
Average Joe's, la salle de sport de Peter LaFleur, est menacée de fermeture. White Goodman a pour projet de la racheter, la raser et y construire un parking pour les clients de sa salle de sport où règne le culte du corps parfait. Afin de sauver Average Joe's, Peter LaFleur se voit contraint de mener une équipe de bras cassés jusqu'à la victoire de la prestigieuse compétition de Dodgeball et ainsi empocher 50.000$. Alors oui ce n'est pas très fin mais qu'est-ce que c'est drôle ! Grand fan de Vince Vaughn, il nous livre une nouvelle fois une interprétation nickel. Ben Stiller en fait des tonnes et ça lui réussit, et l'ensemble du casting des seconds rôles est top. C'est à nouveau une comédie qui ne peut être faite qu'en Amérique et que j'apprécie beaucoup de revoir de temps en temps.
