Summary
A nine-year-old amateur inventor, Francophile, and pacifist searches New York City for the lock that matches a mysterious key left behind by his father, who died in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

This film is hard to watch due to a total lack of rhythm. Despite the good performances of the actors, especially Thomas Horn, it's not enough to hide the poor execution.
C'était beaucoup plus triste que ce à quoi on s'attendait, c'est une belle histoire ou on fait face au déni au cours d'un deuil et des conséquences de celui-ci sur les autres membres de la famille. L'attitude du garçon est à la fois agaçante et attachante, avec une balance entre tristesse intense et volonté déterminée. La fin est prosaïque : on est déçus que toute cette aventure ne lui était en faite pas vouée, mais on fait donc face à la réalité du deuil. C'est émouvant, c'est assez morose, plutôt pas mal.
