The mythical world starts a rebellion against humanity in order to rule the Earth, so Hellboy and his team must save the world from the rebellious creatures.

Synopsis: Hellboy affronte ici Nuada, le prince des elfes, qui veut reprendre une guerre ancestrale contre les humains. Pour cela, Nuada veut réformer les Légions d'Or, une armée de soldats en or. Hellboy, Liz Sherman, Abe, assistés de la soeur de Nuada vont tenter de l'arrêter... On reprend les mêmes et on recommence, un scénario original avec une nouvelle fois derrière la caméra Guillermo Del Toro. Toujours dans le même esprit avec des couleurs vives, du rouge, du jaune pour les décors et les personnages. Point fort du film, ou l'on reconnaît "la patte" du réalisateur, le marché aux trolls ou l'on retrouve un cheptel de créatures fantastiques et originales.
