🎬 Le point de vue japonais sur la terrible bataille d'Iwo Jima réalisé par Clint Eastwood. Un grand film de guerre, réaliste, poignant, bouleversant, remplit d’horreur, d’honneur et d’émotion. Magnifique pour la qualité de la réalisation, de la photographie et des effets visuels et sonores. Le second volet après " Mémoires de nos pères " qui traitait la bataille d’un point de vue américain. Porté par un Ken Watanabe immense, portant la vision d'une autre culture, dans un noir et blanc sublime. L'intrigue principale est entrecoupée par de nombreux flashbacks se penchant sur les principaux personnages du film. La musique, représentée par un thème unique, fait également la force du film. Une oeuvre crépusculaire et grandiose. 🎬 🎬 🎬

Quelques longueurs sur les scènes de guerre mais film de guerre compliqué peut être de faire autrement mais un peu de fatigue a la longue Sinon prisme intéressant des lettres de trois personnages japonais aurait mérité d’être plus étoffée et approfondit Mais reste un beau film de guerre
