Viewers are captivated by 'Mississippi Burning', praising its intense portrayal of a dark chapter in American history. The film's direction by Alan Parker and performances, especially by Gene Hackman and Willem Dafoe, are frequently highlighted as powerful and compelling. While the film is lauded for its dramatic intensity and historical relevance, some viewers express discomfort with its graphic depictions of violence and the limited voice given to the actual victims of racial segregation.
👍 Stellar performances by Hackman and Dafoe

Great movie, still very relevant. Segregation and discrimination are not a thing of the past. Support, fight or look the other way?
