A determined young Saudi doctor's surprise run for office in the local city elections sweeps up her family and community as they struggle to accept their town's first female candidate.
Je l’avais trop aimé ! Regardé au cinéma à l’époque
Maryam est médecin dans la clinique d'une petite ville d'Arabie saoudite. Alors qu'elle veut se rendre à Riyad pour candidater à un poste de chirurgien dans un grand hôpital, elle se voit refuser le droit de prendre l’avion. Célibataire, il lui faut une autorisation à jour signée de son père, malheureusement absent. Révoltée par cette interdiction de voyager, elle décide de se présenter aux élections municipales de sa ville. Mais comment une femme peut-elle faire campagne dans ce pays ? Bon film, bon scénario, intéressant de voir le traitement des femmes en Arabie. Un peu longuet par moment.
