Viewers are deeply moved by 'Peaceful,' directed by Emmanuelle Bercot, which poignantly explores the themes of terminal illness and familial bonds. The film's strength lies in its raw portrayal of a mother and son grappling with impending loss, bolstered by stellar performances from Catherine Deneuve and Benoît Magimel. While the film's emotional depth resonates, some viewers felt it occasionally veered into melodrama and could be overly lengthy in parts.
👍 Stellar performances and a raw portrayal of terminal illness.
