This movie was amazing. It captured the unique feeling and atmosphere of Florida in such a perfect way. This movie also feels very nostalgic for me, I saw my childhood in a lot of the children in this film. Moonees acting is really good for a kid and I love the colors and visual side of the film. The ending also completely wrecked me, I actually think I got the closest to crying than any other movie I’ve watch. This whole movie helped the viewer attach ourselves to these characters and see a version of ourselves childhood in these kids, just for the ending to punch you in the gut. It’s terrible seeing the kids perspective, and I think that’s what really made me tear up. Overall, a spectacular piece of indie art, and I’m Inspired by this film. 9/10
