The Safe House has elicited a mixed bag of reactions from viewers. Many appreciate the film's quirky, eccentric portrayal of a family during the tumultuous times of May 1968, highlighted by strong performances, particularly from Michel Blanc in his final role. The film's unique style and tender moments are praised, though some find the narrative a bit disjointed and lacking in depth. Overall, it's seen as a charming, albeit not groundbreaking, cinematic piece.
👍 Michel Blanc's final, touching performance
