🎬 Un Grand classique de H.G Wells adapté par George Pal. Rod Taylor est excellent dans le rôle du scientifique vivant à l'époque victorienne qui va fabriquer une machine à explorer le temps pour voyager loin dans le futur. Un film très beau, notamment par les thèmes abordés, très critique envers l’espèce humaine. L'équipe d'effets spéciaux crée 12 versions de masques pour les Morlocks, accentuant ainsi leur apparence hideuse. Une grande réussite du cinéma fantastique, soignée, inventive et pleine de charme. Un classique du genre qui a conquis des générations de cinéphiles. 🎬 🎬 🎬
Non regardable, storytelling et effets spéciaux vraiment trop vieillots. L'adaptation de l'oeuvre de H.G Wells est intéressante, mais elle est à des années lumières de l'adaptation réalisée par son arrière petit fils en 2002
