🎬 Sydney Pollack est doué pour les intrigues mêlant pouvoir et corruption, conspiration, manipulation, cynisme. Le genre de film parano particulièrement prisé par le cinéma américain dans les années 70. Le réalisateur s'attaque à la CIA, on y suit Joseph Turner, joué par Robert Redford impeccable, qui devient la cible d'un complot géopolitique visant à faire de l'argent sur les gisements de pétrole au Moyen-Orient. Les personnages sont réussis, attachant et même terrifiant, à l'image de Max Von Sydow, et la belle Faye Dunaway est impeccable. Malgré quelques petites longueurs, ce thriller politique au scénario bien ficelé est haletant. 🎬 🎬 🎬
