As allied P.O.W.s prepare for a soccer game against the German National Team to be played in Nazi-occupied Paris, the French Resistance and British officers are making plans for the team's escape.
🎬 Un film de John Huston qui sort de l'ordinaire, avec un casting de footballeurs et d'acteurs, Sylvester Stallone, Michael Caine, Pelé, Max Von Sydow, Ardiles, Bobby Moore. Le thème de l'évasion, maintes fois abordé dans le cinéma, a ici le mérite d'être traité sous une forme très originale puisque le réalisateur, John Huston, à choisi le Football. Le film retrace l'histoire de prisonnier de la seconde guerre mondiale à qui les nazis proposent un match amical entre 3ème Reich et forces alliées, mais Michael Caine et sa bande profitent de cette aubaine pour monter un plan audacieux d'évasion. Les chorégraphies de phases de jeu sont signées Pelé, et tournées au Stade de Colombes, qui accueilli la finale de la Coupe du Monde 1938. 🎬 🎬 🎬
