Summary
In a future where the polar ice-caps have melted and Earth is almost entirely submerged, a mutated mariner fights starvation and outlaw "smokers," and reluctantly helps a woman and a young girl try to find dry land.

Malgré ses moyens colossaux, le film fait fauché, la faute à une réalisation trop générique et brouillonne dans les scènes d’action. Même la scène de découverte des ruines sous marines qui aurait pu être fascinante fait carton pâte et ne provoque pas d’émotion. Tout le reste semble traîner et manque clairement d’ampleur et d’aventure.
