26 reviewsReally amazing and unique show, the story just kept on getting better and better and I loved how the situation continued to escalate. Steven Yeun and Ali Wong both acted perfectly, they both were very charismatic, but very psychotic. This plot is very different to what A24 normally produces, so it was a nice change of pace for A24, and it lead to a great series. Off topic, but I realized with this series that A24 makes the best art when they stray away from the trippy/surreal type of film. The ending to Beef was great and fit well within the context of the show, but if you go too far with the “trippyness” and the hallucinations, it just makes the viewer confused and loses their grasp on what the film truly was meant for. I don’t really have anything bad to say about this show specifically, cause I think it’s honestly perfect.
