Spect.Viewers of 'The Girlfriend' find themselves entangled in a gripping psychological thriller that skillfully plays with perspectives between a mother and her son's girlfriend. The series is praised for its intense drama and strong performances, particularly by Robin Wright. While some found the plot twists engaging, others felt the series started slowly and had moments bordering on the ridiculous. The alternating viewpoints and the climactic revelations keep the audience on edge, making it a compelling watch.

A bit predictable and lacks subtlety, but works and keeps you wanting to know what will happen. Guilty pleasure.
