How is unable to love, because till he finds the right person his job always comes first. As a kid his older brother teaches him about sex and other related things, and that eventually becomes how he comes to grow up as a young adult surrounded by sex - so literally doesn't know anything else. Since, it's fictional you don't know what is true and what is made up - but his older brother who kills himself lives a tormented life, but in the end Rocco finds love with someone who can accept all of him.
