This is a really interesting TV show about pain killers in the USA and the plague they have engendered

Quand en plus, on sait que c’est une histoire vraie, ça met une claque ! J’ai aussi regardé la série pour Michael Keaton que j’aime beaucoup. Il est le Batman de ma génération 🫶🏼

Dans les années 1990, Richard Sackler commence sa croisade contre la douleur en décidant de commercialiser un nouvel antalgique de Purdue Pharma. Il choisit de présenter un opioïde comme « moins addictif » que les autres dépresseurs de la même classe, et fait former des visiteurs médicaux pour encourager les médecins à le prescrire comme un anti-douleur efficace et inoffensif. Un médecin du pays minier de Virginie du Sud, Samuel Finnix, commence à en prescrire à certains patients.
Très bien réalisé pour un sujet effarant, tout simplement.
