3 reviewsListen, I’m trying to be objective here and not give this show a 10 because I know it’s not lol. There’s so many flaws but uhhhhh. Like THIS is for the book girlies I swearrrr. My enemies to lovers romantqsy spirits was really going through this shit and I don’t think another drama will come close nearly. A lot of people tell me to watch : love between fairy and devil, blue whispers, etc and they were good tho I didn’t finished most of them yet but the dynamic between Luo Yunxi and Ye Xiwu is unmatched for me. Some moments were genuinely Shakespearean like “Tantai Jin, my only goal had pleats been to kill you” (no spoil here don’t worry). Like the constant back and forth between these two, the tension, the ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of the need for the female lead to always have trust issue with the male lead (so many people were annoyed by the fact that she just didn’t immediately trust him with this life and decide to change him/fix him with the magic of love lol) noooooo. I take months to get past the first minutes of the first episode and I’m so happy to have persevered or sad because I wish I could discovered it again.
I've never cried so much for a drama. Every episode I cried so much that their story between Susu and Taitajin is painful and sad ! Watching it is beautiful because it is so well represented in terms of decor, costume and cinematographic. The actors are great and their development so interesting.
