I watched this show for Andrew Garfield and his acting was super good but the plot was kinda weird and really confusing. It’s definitely a show that you have to really pay attention to a rewatch to understand.

Sur ordre de dieu nous plonge dans une enquête policière au coeur d'un village mormon. C'est Jeb Pyre, également mormon qui va essayer d'élucider le meurtre d'une mère et de son bébé tué violemment dans leur maison. Jeb va devoir interroger sa communauté, ce qui l'amènera à se questionner sur sa foi, l'obscurantisme et les dérives religieuses. A travers ses interrogatoires des flash back nous font découvrir l'histoire de Joseph Smith créateur du mormonisme, mis en relief par la vie des personnages principaux dans leur pratique religieuse. Une enquête bien ficelée qui nous permet de connaître plus en détail cette communauté très présente en Utah et qui relate un fait réel.
