Synopsis
This reality competition sees teams embark on a trek around the world to amazing destinations where they must compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical. Only when the tasks are completed will they learn of their next location. Teams who are the farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning the race and the $1 million prize.

1. Winners: Rob and Brennan Season 1 is a decent introduction. The game was much milder. We do have two white males win a race you don’t feel they actually need to win but they were honestly the best team to win. The black couple we would want to win, Frank and Margarita were a great couple to look at but I didn’t enjoy their arguments. F often talked down to M and ion like dat. 2. Winners: Chris and Alex 3. Winners: Flo and Zach *first female winner 4. Winners: Reichen and Chip *first gay and first romantic couple to win 5. Winners: Chip and Kim *first black winners! 🏆 Fan favorite season for a reason. Fast forwards are reduced and Yields are introduced. Teams can no longer tie at pitstop placements and penalties for non-elimination legs are introduced (teams must relinquish monies). So great game. The couple were also so great to watch. Charla and Mirna are the first white girls I openly rooted for. Colin should have been placed in that Tanzanian jail, but wasn’t. Brandon and Nichole “Lord”ed it up. And Chip and Kim were utterly adorable. 6. Freddy and Kendra 7. Winners: Uchenna and Joyce, 2nd black winners🏆 Format Changes: Non-elimination legs require you to surrender both money and possessions. - Great season including Boston Rob and almost wife Amber. Having survivors on the cast added a psychological element that players weren’t prepared for. It was fun to watch Rob scheme to convince 3 other couples to take on a 4 hour time penalty with him. But that’s what makes him legendary and hated. The couples that focused on eliminating Rob and Ashley didn’t make it far enough to matter. - Ultimately Uchenna and Joyce win and it’s warming because they played this game admirably. We see U helping Meredith and Gretchen during the physical competition and Joyce bravely shaving her head for the fast forward. Iconically lost all their money and possessions starting the finale and it was devastating to watch them beg. They earned this win. - Special s/o to Meredith and Gretchen, oldest couple who kept going after a head injury and being stopped of their items. Baddass. Everyone wants a love like this. 8. The first and only family season is much more heartwarming than the previous seven seasons. Particularly involving the families with children; I loved seeing the constant encouragement from parents and especially loved seeing the younger kids pass out while traveling 💤 Real implementation of layering clothes if you know you’re coming in last.
