Rated 5/10 by bittersweet_ta "1. Dungeons and Dragons: not that bad, it was cute and detailed but mid plot 5/10 2. Sifu: Way better animation, I liked this one a lot even thought it had less of a plot, it was just pleasing to look at. 7/10 3. New World: Really good episode, the main character was funny and arrogant and had a nice feel good message at the end. 8/10 4. Unreal Tournament: Another decent one, not much of a plot but the fight scenes were cool and Xan was a cool intimidating protagonist. 6/10 5. Warhammer: I liked the world building, but this almost had no plot and was exclusively fight scenes. It’s cool to see the mechs fight and the CGI is good, but that’s pretty much it. 5/10 6. PAC-MAN: When I first watched this, I hated it. I think I just wasn’t used to how the story was being told. They took A LOT of creative liberties, almost nothing being related to PAC-MAN other than the Puck and the Ghosts, but the story by itself is pretty solid. It’s just weird for an episode to have almost no references to the game the episode is supposedly based of. 7/10 7. Crossfire: pretty boring military stuff, I can acknowledge that the fight scenes and car chases and stuff are cool, but this episode doesn’t even feel like it’s based on a video game, it’s just an average military plot. 4/10 8. Armored Core: This one was pretty cool, i didn’t expect the twist ending and i enjoyed this episode. Standard mech fight scenes, but the small hints of the ending helped this episode become a whole lot better. 6/10 9. The Outer Worlds: pretty good episode, this one was unique and more vibrant, I thought this one was also kinda funny, not much a plot as usual, but I enjoyed this. 7/10 10. Mega Man: i enjoyed the animation, the story and the action, but holy fuck this was short, only 9 minutes. A lot of these episodes are short, but this episode was the only one where I was actually confused at how short it was. It felt rushed and didn’t give the characters room to actually make the audience care about the story. I still liked it, but the runtime on this one is unforgiving. 4/10 11. Exodus: this one just pissed me off tbh, the daughter is dumb and stupid and there really wasn’t any reason for her to leave abruptly. I liked the world building, it reminded me a lot of Star Wars. The plane fight scenes were cool and I liked the ending where he gave the expensive ball to save his home planet from the winter, but that beginning part where the daughter left felt so unmotivated and forced. 5/10 12. Spelunky: this one was cute, it was very creative, colorful, and to the point. It was goofy and the main character was charismatic. Unironically the most charismatic protagonist in this series. Also the animation was really good and i liked the plot so I’d give this a 8/10 13. Concord: One of the best episodes me thinks, it was funny, colorful, and had some funny gags. Admittedly not as good fight scenes or anything, but I don’t think this one needed it. The beginning escape plan was fun and the storm they went into at the end was colorful and bright. The characters were somewhat likable and this one had the most cohesive plot in all of the episodes. I’ll have to give this a 9/10. 14. Honor Of Kings: this one was unique and different, I liked the visuals in this one and the mirror while they play that is one second into the future reminded me of the Devs show, it was a cool part of that scene. Other than that, it had a decent plot, not many side characters, and some pretty cool fight scenes from the flashbacks. 6/10 15. Playtime: Oh brother… this one is the worst. Firstly, I can appreciate the references like Helldivers, Kratos, Sackboy, but dude. This episode had so many little plot holes and annoying things I can’t look past… 1. Why didn’t the Helldivers shoot their guns at all?! This whole episode wouldn’t have happened if they actually shot their guns. The protagonist is inexperienced and somehow evaded this crew of space warriors. 2. Kratos had almost no role in this episode. He popped up, and the main character jumped over him. Stupidest thing ever. And 3. Kevin Hart has such an annoying voice I could not immerse myself in believing that he was a talking robot. Ultimately, this episode was the worst, it felt like a giant ad for PlayStation, and if it wasn’t for some cool references, this would’ve gotten a 0. 3/10 Overall, I was expecting more from this series, it just felt like all of these episodes could’ve been better if they had a bit more time. And if they could maybe pick some more popular and interesting games. This series is a step in the right direction of gaming movies and tv shows, but god some episodes just felt so cookie cutter and basic, with a basic game slapped onto the title. Average military and space plots for the majority of the series and only a few standout episodes. Idk, not the worst show but DEFINITELY not the the best."

Des chouettes court-métrage mais comme à chaque fois on préfère une série complète à 1 épisode de 15-20min
