Summary
The final chapter in the bestselling, critically acclaimed Daevabad Trilogy, in which a con-woman and an idealistic djinn prince join forces to save a magical kingdom from a devastating civil war.
One of the very best trilogy I’ve ever read, I would like to give hugs and love to many characters in these books but i’m so happy their fight and survival has been rewarded after so much sorrow and grief. Nahri is as real as I can be, the world is amazingly beautiful and well defined, Daevabad deserves some peace and I hope I can visit it in some dreams. Aqisa and Zaynab are very much gay and may be in love (I hope). Ali has made so many sacrifices and I’m grateful he has seen how the world he was born in and his father were broken and consumed by power trips. I hope Dara will make it to peace, his actions cannot be justified and he deserves to feel as bad as he does but he also was weaponized all his (long) life so give him a bit of peace please. Subha, Issa, Razu, Elashia, Jamshid, Munthadir and every others survivors and fighters, I love you all, may the fires burn brightly for all of you.
