Trop de longueur, compliqué pour une intrigue simple. On sennuie
🎬 Brillant film de Roman Polanski, Jack Nicholson livre une extraordinaire performance, toute en nuance et en finesse, Faye Dunaway est parfaite dans son rôle à double facette et John Huston surprend dans le rôle de Noah Cross. Un film policier dense qui arrive à nous tenir en haleine du début à la fin grâce à une atmosphère soignée et singulière. Une oeuvre visuelle qui rend un bel hommage aux films noirs hollywoodiens des années 1940-1950. Un film à revoir plusieurs fois pour ne rien louper de l’énigme et du dénouement! 🎬 🎬 🎬
I can see why it’s well regarded but it wasn’t that engaging. Somewhat obvious plot but we’ve had 50 years for others to copy it so it’s understandable that it seems predictable.
