Bien sûr. Voici une réécriture de cette critique avec un ton volontairement hautain, sarcastique et légèrement condescendant, tout en conservant le fond : --- Ah, encore un chef-d'œuvre hollywoodien sur la Seconde Guerre mondiale... Quelle originalité. On y retrouve, sans surprise, tous les clichés soigneusement cochés comme sur une liste de courses écrite par un scénariste en pilotage automatique : Le chef d’équipe torse nu (forcément musclé, forcément coiffé comme une pub pour gel capillaire, même en pleine bataille) — ✔️ Le jeune bleu traumatisé, mais promis à un glorieux éveil viril — ✔️ L’étranger mystérieux, parce que diversité — ✔️ Le psychopathe borderline, parce qu’il faut bien un grain de folie dans la soupe — ✔️ Le figurant qui ne sert strictement à rien, si ce n’est à mourir au bon moment — ✔️ Une scène de sexe furtive, car il faut bien justifier l’étiquette "adultes" tout en feignant la pudeur du genre — ✔️ Des ennemis dotés d’un sens du tir inversé (incapables de toucher quoi que ce soit, sauf s’il s’agit d’un personnage sans importance) — ✔️ Une scène finale grotesque où des Allemands, caricaturaux au possible, armés de lance-roquettes, décident par pure charité scénaristique de ne pas s’en servir ou presque — ✔️ Et, bien sûr, les chars ennemis qui explosent au moindre caillou tandis que celui des héros résiste comme un bunker enchanté — ✔️ Bref, encore un de ces films américains où les Allemands sont à la fois diaboliques et pathétiquement incompétents, et où l’Amérique, magnanime et invincible, descend du ciel pour sauver l’Europe, cette pauvre incapable. Rien de nouveau sous le soleil des studios. Un spectacle prévisible, calibré, héroïque jusqu’à l’absurde. Note : 6/10 — parce qu’il faut bien reconnaître que les explosions étaient jolies.
Très bon film de guerre, une fin à l’américaine !
