Very realistic movie regarding a messy divorce. Parehas kong naiintindihan ang punto nila. Nicole is a great mother and a wife. Sadly, hindi nya alam kung paano makipag communicate ng mga gusto nyang gawin sa buhay. This was due to the fact na mas pinili nyang pumunta sa lawyer kesa makipagusap kay Charlie. Sabagay, Charlie is also a stuck up. Hindi sya marunong makinig kay Nicole. He was so self-absorbed sa theater at sa New York na hindi nya na naaalala kung anong gusto ni Nicole. Nag cheat pa sya during their marriage. Overall, this movie screams miscommunication in all ways na naging resentment na yung matagal na nilang tinatagong feelings. This was all about Nicole and Charlie pero I can't help but think kung gaano kahirap sa bata yung pag divorce ng parents nya. One thing about them is hindi nila pinapakita sa anak nila yung pagaaway nila so that's very good. I had a great time. There are some quotes na talagang tumatak sa utak ko. I liked the two lawyers because somehow they were making sense pero sa bandang dulo, they treated the divorce as competition na who's going to win more. "So it’s a deal when it’s something you want, and a discussion when she wants it?” “we can accept an imperfect dad. before that, fathers were expected to be silent and absent and unreliable and selfish, and can all say we want them to be different. but on some basic level, we accept them. we love them for their fallibilities, but people absolutely don’t accept those same failings in mothers. we don’t accept it structurally and we don’t accept it spiritually. so you have to be perfect, and Charlie can be a fuck up and it doesn’t matter. You will always be held to a different, higher standard. And it’s fucked up, but that’s the way it is.”
“damn, two hours?” then, “aww” “oh…” “fuck, FUCK” “….” *crying* “then what was all this for?” ☹️ fuck me very sad, the fighting scene gave me deja vu
Noté 8/10 par le renard aka le foxito
