Il accepte un dernier contrat avant de prendre sa retraite. Pour cela, il doit se fondre dans une petite banlieue en tant qu’écrivain. En attendant que le moment propice lui soit donné, il se met à écrire sa propre histoire. C’est ainsi que l’on apprend mieux à le connaître: de son enfance difficile à sa carrière de tueur à gages en passant par des années à la guerre. 🌸 S. King sort de ses thèmes horreur/fantastique pour revenir à un polar, une histoire ancrée à la réalité. Ce livre allie récits de guerre, traumatisme d’enfance, road trip et même de la politique mais ce qui en ressort le plus c’est la tendresse. Comment est ce possible ?
