C'est inquiétant, angoissant, très original. Un film très particulier qui pourra plaire à certains et en rebuter plus d'un. Dans une époque où l'aspect religieux a une part très importante dans le quotidien d'une famille, le moindre détail surnaturel peut générer des conflits familiaux où la foi peut être mise à mal, parfois par le mal lui même. Le film est tres lent, ciblé sur un seul lieu où presque, avec une seule famille, par contre la façon de filmer, la musique , l'époque apportent un côté plus mystique encore.
Synopsis
In 1630, a farmer relocates his family to a remote plot of land on the edge of a forest where strange, unsettling things happen. With suspicion and paranoia mounting, each family member's faith, loyalty and love are tested in shocking ways.
