Viewers are captivated by 'The Tale of The Princess Kaguya,' praising its unique, watercolor-like animation and deeply poetic and touching storyline. The film's portrayal of societal constraints and personal freedom resonates strongly, evoking a range of emotions from joy to profound sadness. While the distinctive artistic style is generally adored, it also sets it apart from typical Ghibli animations, which might not appeal to everyone. Despite its beauty, some find the plot pacing slow and the ending overly melancholic.
