🎬 Première apparition de James Dean en tant qu’acteur principal, et premier film en technicolor pour le grand réalisateur Elia Kazan. Le réalisateur adapte John Steinbeck et revisite le mythe d'Abel et Caïn. On y suit deux frères, vivant uniquement avec leur père, l'un étant plus aimé et qui à mieux réussi sa vie, pendant que l'autre est plus torturé et obsédé à l'idée d'impressionner son père et de retrouver sa mère. Un très bon film, malheureusement célèbre uniquement pour la prestation de James Dean alors qu'il mérite mieux que ça. C'est un grand drame familial, poignant et captivant. 🎬 🎬 🎬
