1995. Le père de Jonas fait le plein pendant que son fils, 16 ans, joue à la Game Boy à l'intérieur du véhicule. Revenu de la station-service, il le découvre enfermé à double tour, terrorisé. Que s'est-il passé ? À 30 ans, Jonas est devenu un homme instable et destructeur, enchaînant les amants et les soirées en boîte. Rongé par la culpabilité, il va enfin oser convoquer les souvenirs du passé et revoir la mère de son ami disparu dramatiquement quand il avait 16 ans.
