Bien pour l’époque je suppose
Burton se risque au reboot de la saga qui a marqué les esprits en 1968. Le seul « La Planète des Singes » ressemblant le plus à l’original de l’époque. Sombre, violent avec des effets spéciaux plutôt réussis, cet opus commençait vraiment bien, assez fidèle à ce que l’on en connaissait et puis.. presque d’un coup l’histoire bascule dans une vulgaire chasse à l’homme sans véritables enjeux. Il aurait pourtant pu se démarquer s’il avait proposé un scénario digne de ce nom mais se retrouve à vite faire du surplace. Et ça n’est malheureusement pas le casting qui sauvera cette jolie réalisation
