Mieux fait, une ambiance à la Stargate et un peu plus d’action, « Les Chroniques de Riddick » suit Pitch Black avec le mérite de nous proposer un nouvel univers. Par contre c’est pas de bol, même sur une autre planète, Monnnnnsieur est (encore) toujours recherché et il arrive (encore) a être prisonnier. Ajoutez des répliques clichées / reloues, quelques longueurs, un scénario assez convenu et vous obtenez une moyenne tout juste convenable. Diesel convainc toutefois, Predator n’a qu’à bien s’tenir
