Summary

Bon film touchant avec deux superbes acteurs, surtout Dustin Hofmann qui joue magnifiquement le rôle de Raymond. Le lien créé pour de mauvaises raisons s'est avéré réel et c'était beau à voir. Le bémol est le début qui est un peu long mais après ce passe on est emmené avec eux dans l'histoire et c'est superbe.
Bien joué mais l émotion tarde à venir. Belle performance de Dustin Hoffman, bien que sa logorrhée au début du film m a fait me sentir nerveuse… ça s est un peu calmé ensuite.

si le synopsis de base suscitait déjà l’intérêt des spectateurs, je dois dire que je ne m’attendais pas à un tel film ! si charlie est d’abord désinvolte, matérialiste intéressé et brute de décoffrage envers raymond, nous assistons petit à petit à son intéressante métamorphose en un frère à l’écoute, compréhensif et rempli d’amour. Raymond quant à lui, paraît plutôt froid, robotique et désorganisé. Nous sommes progressivement embarqués au cœur de l’histoire profondément touchante de deux frères que tout oppose et qui finissent pourtant par créer un lien unique et puissant. Les deux personnages s’élèvent l’un et l’autre dans une magnifique morale. le design des années 90 et la musique apportent également un réel esthétique au film. je suis très impressionnée par la performance hors normes d’Hoffman qui a du s’entraîner dur pour apporter toute cette vérité à son personnage et son trouble si spécifique. Je l’ai trouvé véritablement authentique et fantastique dans son rôle ! Et on ne cite plus les présentations formidables de Tom Cruise, qui encore une fois, ne nous a pas laissé sur notre faim ! c’est un beau film à voir mais qui suffit une fois, il m’a manqué un poil d’émotions. Il n’aura tout de même pas volé un bon 17/20 :)
