Sombre et hypnotique, j’ai adoré. Tout les acteurs avaient tellement de charisme à l’époque… Sincèrement, je pense très souvent à ce film, à son ambiance, son plot twist, ses personnages. Incroyable en fait.
🎬 Premier film américain d'Alfred Hichcock, son unique oeuvre à décrocher la statuette de l'oscar du meilleur film. Dès les premières secondes, il met en place une atmosphère envoûtante qui va peu à peu devenir obsédante et sombre. Joan Fontaine est inoubliable et d'une justesse incroyable, tout comme le grand Lawrence Olivier, d'une présence immense ainsi que l'inquiétante Judith Anderson. Le film reste basé sur le suspense, qui ne cessera de monter a partir du moment ou l'on découvre la demeure ancestrale de Manderley. Un chef d'œuvre aussi indémodable que précieux. 🎬 🎬 🎬
