My favorite movie since I was a kid.
🎬 Howard Hawks nous livre un étonnant cocktail de genres, le western bien évidemment, mais aussi des moments de comédie. John Wayne trouve ici l’un de ses plus beaux rôles, l’homme droit, valeureux, professionnel, d’apparence dure mais en réalité proche et affectueux avec ses hommes, maladroit et pataud avec les femmes. Dean Martin, en alcoolique en instance de repentance, y trouve sans doute son meilleur rôle aussi. Walter Brennan, en viellard boiteux est excellent, quant à Angie Dickinson, elle apporte un peu de fraîcheur dans ce monde de brutes. Le film est captivant et est brillamment réalisé. 🎬 🎬 🎬
