Ça faisait longtemps que je ne l'avais pas vu. Un vrai plaisir à revoir, nostalgie quand tu nous tiens.
Arnold Schwarzenegger et Danny DeVito sont frères jumeaux. Si si ! Enfin, des faux frères jumeaux, ce qui rend l'histoire beaucoup plus crédible. En 1989 on savait faire sérieusement des films pas sérieux sur des sujets sérieux. Et sérieusement, c'était chouette. Pas de grosses galéjades à la Philippe Lachaux et consorts, juste un buddy movie fraternel à l'ancienne. Ne vous attendez pas à ce qu'Arnold joue bien, et d'ailleurs beaucoup repose sur les épaules de Danny, mais le duo fonctionne à merveille. Ce film m'accompagne depuis que je l'ai découvert dans les années 90 et j'ai beaucoup apprécié de le revoir il y a quelques jours. Ce soir c'est le grand soir mon frérot !
Quelques généticiens décident de créer un être exceptionnel. Six hommes triés sur le volet sont donc sélectionnés pour féconder Mary Ann Benedict, une jeune femme belle et intelligente. Mary Ann accouche de jumeaux, mais on lui en cache, et on lui annonce la mort du bébé.
